GENERATION ATOMIC EXISTS TO INSPIRE AND EMPOWER ADVOCATES FOR A WORLD POWERED BY CLEAN ATOMIC ENERGY. A YEAR OF GROWTH AND IMPACT:2023 MARKED A TRANSFORMATIVE YEAR FOR GENERATION ATOMIC, HIGHLIGHTED BY THE PREMIERE OF "ATOMIC HOPE," A DOCUMENTARY BY AWARD-WINNING FILMMAKER FRANKIE FENTON THAT BROUGHT OUR STORY TO SCREENS WORLDWIDE. OUR ATOMIC AMBASSADORS PROGRAM REACHED 189 PARTICIPANTS ACROSS THREE NEW COHORTS, WITH 131 COMPLETING FULL TRAINING. THE PROGRAM'S EFFECTIVENESS SHOWED IN THE NUMBERS: OVER 93% OF PARTICIPANTS REPORTED INCREASED CONFIDENCE IN NUCLEAR ENERGY COMMUNICATION.OUR GLOBAL PRESENCE EXPANDED THROUGH 50 INTERNATIONAL EVENTS, INCLUDING CO-ORGANIZING A SYMPOSIUM AT THE UN SCIENCE SUMMIT IN NEW YORK. WE BROUGHT PRACTICAL ADVOCACY TRAINING TO THE ANS STUDENT CONFERENCE AND SHARED INSIGHTS AT INTERNATIONAL NUCLEAR COMMUNICATION CONFERENCES AT THE IAEA. IN ILLINOIS, OUR ADVOCACY CONTRIBUTED TO PARTIALLY LIFTING THE STATE'S MORATORIUM ON NEW NUCLEAR CONSTRUCTION, WHICH WAS A CONCRETE POLICY WIN FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY ADVANCEMENT.DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT AND PUBLIC OUTREACH:OUR DIGITAL IMPACT SURGED, WITH OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL VIDEO REACHING 585,000 PLAYS AND OUR TOP FACEBOOK POST TOUCHING 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE. BY YEAR'S END, OUR COMMUNITY INCLUDED:26,000 FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS (2.7 MILLION REACH)15,500 TWITTER FOLLOWERS (1.4 MILLION IMPRESSIONS)8,963 TIKTOK FOLLOWERS (1.2 MILLION VIEWS)6,937 LINKEDIN PROFESSIONALS (500K IMPRESSIONS)3,665 INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS1,430 YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS (113.5K VIEWS)BEYOND SOCIAL MEDIA, OUR VOICE REACHED BROADER AUDIENCES THROUGH SEVERAL PUBLISHED OP-EDS, LETTERS TO THE EDITOR, AND NEWS COVERAGE FEATURING OUR WORK.LOOKING FORWARD:THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF 2023 REPRESENT A GROWING MOVEMENT OF INFORMED AND PASSIONATE ADVOCATES EQUIPPED TO ADVANCE NUCLEAR ENERGY.
