SPORTS CAREER INTERNSHIP: Sports Careers is a six weeks internship program for 50 young men that allows them to explore careers in the sports industry outside of playing a sport. They interact with sports industry professionals in occupations that impact sports including technical, financial, marketing, legal, performance, analytics, facility management, flooring and more. The program also provides sessions and experiences that prepare interns to make important life and teach professional skills. It includes field trips and interactive workshops and provides free resources and keepsakes that will provide a reference for young men as they make lifestyle choices and encounter life challenges. Youth attending are assigned to the program through the MPLOY summer youth program of Memphis which provides their stipend.
