Oasis' LGBTQ+ Asylum Program is the core of our work. In 2024, despite the continued delays in processing of asylum applications, Oasis screened over 350 LGBTQIA+ immigrants for asylum. We represented 253 new asylum seekers and continued legal representation for the more than 900 asylum seekers whose cases are currently pending. 14 clients were granted asylum. Our case approval rate is 99%.
