The primary program of Sowers4Pastors is outreach ministry furthering the Gospel message while providing benevolent support and assistance to those in need primarily in western Honduras. Resources are provided to Honduran pastors, Honduran missionaries, Honduran evangelists, Honduran families, and Honduran children. Assistance includes Bible training, feeding centers, and collecting and distributing backpacks, school supplies, school shoes and other needs to assist children getting an education. In 2023, 5,500 backpacks full of school supplies and 4,000 pairs of shoes were collected and distributed. As many children in western Honduras do not attend school specifically because their families are unable to purchase the required school supplies, this project empowers the children to get an education. Additionally, the organization facilitates 80 feeding programs, feeding 8,000 children twice per week. We also facilitate a pastor training school, which 50 pastors attended during 2023. A total of 90 were also trained as Sunday School teachers. Sowers4Pastors has been funded under the umbrella of other nonprofit organizations since 2001. As the ministry grew, it became necessary for Sowers4Pastors, Inc. to incorporate in 2017 and work independently as its own 501c3 which was approved by the IRS in 2018. Since 2001, the ministry has helped distribute over 56,000 Bibles and other Bible study materials, has facilitated 125 pastors graduating from a 3 year pastor training program, distributed approximately 4,400 pastor appreciation gifts, provided approximately 19.6 million meals in our nutrition deficiency feeding programs, facilitated the availability of over $240,000 worth of medical and dental aid and hosted over 200 visiting teams doing community service/medical/educational, construction, etc.
