MAYA - We continued the post-production and obtaining distribution for our second narrative feature, MAYA. The film was created to raise awareness on the fast growing global problem of child trafficking. MAYA also raises awareness on key social issues such as the negative effect of domestic violence in the home, dangers of alcoholism, and child abuse. When a teenager, seeking escape from her alcoholic mother's abusive boyfriend, is lured into a trafficking scheme, she must realize the difference between love and manipulation to return to those who truly care. This year we focused on fundraising for the marketing and release of this film as well as prepping marketing and social media assets to support it.
