OUR ARTIST WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO EQUIPPING ARTISTS WITH ESSENTIAL PROFESSIONAL RESOURCES, CONNECTION OPPORTUNITIES, AND EDUCATION FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND BUSINESS GROWTH. A CORNERSTONE OF THIS INITIATIVE IS THE EMERGE PROGRAM, A DIGITAL PLATFORM OFFERING ON-DEMAND WORKSHOPS FEATURING PROFESSIONAL-GRADE VIDEOS AND WORKBOOKS. THESE RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE IN FREE AND PAID FORMATS. EMERGE PARTICIPANTS BENEFIT FROM VIRTUAL GROUP AND ONE-ON-ONE COACHING, COMPLEMENTED BY MONTHLY IN-PERSON LARGE-GROUP MEETINGS TO FOSTER COMMUNITY AND COLLABORATION.SINCE ITS LAUNCH IN 2024, ALL THREE VERTICALS HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED, AND SEVEN STUDENTS HAVE FULLY COMPLETED THE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM HAS ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO THE GROWTH OF OUR ARTIST MEMBERSHIP, WHICH EXPANDED FROM APPROXIMATELY 700 MEMBERS IN JANUARY 2024 TO 948 BY THE END OF DECEMBER 2024.

ARTREACH EMPOWERS ARTISTS TO CREATE MEANINGFUL CHANGE THROUGH COMMUNITY PROJECTS. A HIGHLIGHT IS THE WEST REHOBOTH HISTORICAL MURAL, COMPLETED IN 2023. AFTER SUSTAINING DAMAGE IN 2024, THE MURAL WAS REBUILT AND REPAINTED WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORT.THE MURAL SHOWCASES THE RICH CULTURAL HISTORY OF WEST REHOBOTH, CHALLENGING STIGMAS AND FOSTERING APPRECIATION FOR ITS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DELAWARE BEACH AREA. DAC CONTINUES TO ENGAGE THE BROADER COMMUNITY WITH THOUGHTFUL PROGRAMMING THAT CONNECTS THEM TO THE ARTISTS WE SERVE WHILE FOSTERING CREATIVITY ACROSS ALL AGE GROUPS. IN 2024, DAC ENGAGED OVER 35,000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN ITS CREATIVE PROGRAMMING.
