In 2024, Camp Cole experienced remarkable growth across its campus. In May, the organization proudly opened the Southeastern Freight Lines Activity Centera nearly 20,000-square-foot facility featuring a gymnasium, stage, movement studio, art studio, sensory gym, breakout rooms, canteen, and two porches. This versatile space ensures that campers and guests have a welcoming environment to gather and create memories, even when weather conditions move activities indoors. With the addition of the Activity Center, Camp Cole expanded its programming to include archery, yoga, theatre, art, and indoor games, ultimately serving more than 1,800 individuals throughout the year. Campers represented over 105 different disabilities, illnesses, and life challenges. Additionally, Camp Cole was honored to support more than 190 lineworkers who worked around the clock to restore power after Hurricane Helene.
