We directly provide financial and non-financial support to newly arrived refugees. The financial support includes rent, furnishings, other household goods, personal hygiene, education, transportation, utilities, internet, phone, and other living expenses. In 2023, we helped resettle 28 families, comprising more than 95 individuals.

We provide grants directly to individual refugees and refugee families who have been in the U.S. for some time, typically more than one year. Grants are gifts (typically up to ~ $1,200) intended to help a family or individual over a financial hurdle and help them on their path to independence. Recipients are no longer being assisted financially by an organization or agency and the grants typically help with classes, childcare, trainings, uniforms, household supplies or medication, school supplies, emergency rent, moving expenses etc.
