BayHAC advanced its pro-housing agenda in 2024 by increasing efforts to advocate for state-level policy reform. From streamlining entitlement and permitting processes to reducing development fees, we identified key barriers to building new housing and partnered with pro-housing leaders in Sacramento to solve these issues. Our success is in large part thanks to the HAC members who provided insight and guidance that helped shape our policy agenda.
