The AMCA successfully held the 44th Adams Morgan Day on September 11, 2022. The original 3 stage concept was greatly reduced due to inclement weather and moved indoors to two main locations to accommodate the dance and music portions and the vendors that persisted even with the weather forecast. There was still a good turnout for the event. Besides the day-of activities, the AMCA conducted a number of interviews with luminaries of DC dance history to encourage greater awareness of their contributions to the rich culture of DC dance and music and to collect an oral history.
