THESE PROGRAMS AIM TO ENSURE THAT ALL STUDENTS CAN ATTEND AND COMPLETE COLLEGE WHILE MEETING THEIR BASIC NEEDS AND WITHOUT TAKING OUT STUDENT LOAN DEBT. RISE ACTION FUND LED GET OUT THE VOTE EFFORTS ACROSS SEVEN STATES THAT REACHED 2.2 MILLION YOUNG VOTERS AND MOBILIZED 140,000 OF THOSE VOTERS TO MAKE A PLEDGE TO VOTE. THE ORGANIZATION TRAINED 4,000+ COLLEGE STUDENTS VIA THE RISE UNIVERSITY CIVIC ENGAGEMENT TRAINING. RISE ACTION FUND CONTINUED THE FIGHT FOR COLLEGE AFFORDABILITY ACROSS THE COUNTRY, BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AND LEADING ADVOCACY MEETINGS WITH STATE STAKEHOLDERS WHERE STUDENTS SHARED THEIR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES WITH COLLEGE AFFORDABILITY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO JOINED THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION'S "SAVE ON STUDENT DEBT" CAMPAIGN AND HOSTED CLINICS THAT SAVED BORROWERS $355,613 TOTAL IN FORGIVEN OR DISCHARGED LOANS.
