1) Environmental Outreach Activities 2024:a) On March 25 to April 30, HJIFEP conducted its first Earth Month campaign featuring a limited newsletter series called the Hyo Jeong Awakenings.b) On April 6, Mr. Gregg Jones organized and led a service project in Annapolis, MD, to remove invasive vines harming local trees and to clean the park area of trash.c) On June 15, in observance of UN World Environment Day, HJIPEF organized an exciting summit with expert speakers to awaken our consciousness and promote action to protect and renew our ecosystems. After a welcoming address by Dr. Sun Jin Moon, the program featured presentations by two renowned scientists, Dr. Rattan Lal and Dr. Douglas Tallamy.2) Publishing The Earth & I Magazine (E&I)The E&I magazine has continued to run bimonthly issues, each with 16 articles across 10 sections on environmental issues plus separate sections on news and data, which can be viewed at www.theearthandi.org. 3) Preparations for next International Environmental Conference Research was done to find themes and trending topics for a conference which is to have presentations on protecting and preserving the environment using conventional science and new paradigm science.4) HJIFEP Website development:The archive of the HJIFEP/USA website was updated to include proceedings materials from ICSG and ICUS.
