In 2020, we had several program accomplishments, including pivoting to virtual program delivery: hosted 10-city workshop tour focused on plant education and civic engagement; hosted Veteran seminar in Haltom City and online Texas Veteran Cannabis Conference; launched the Texas Patient Study on Medical Cannabis with Rice University's Baker Institute to create a report on the medical use in Texas, which was shared with legislators for the 2021 session and included in displays in the Texas State Capitol Building; hosted best practices event to educate on cultivation, manufacturing and other aspects; launched a catalog of virtual workshops and seminars on recent research, best practices, how to become a TCUP patient, sexual health and other topics; and continued to share news, resources and opportunities for advocacy with our members.
