As a part of the mission to teach children the sport of water polo. Teams are assembled for competion with other water polo teams in the area and around the state of California. Players can participate in tournaments which require a registration fee and a uniform for the team players. In 2025 the foundation had teams that participated in many Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter tournaments. The Laguna Beach Water Polo Foundation was formed to provide children from the ages of 6 thru 18 the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of playing and participating in the sport of water polo. The foundations goal is to promote the sport by teaching swimming skills, sportmanship & strategy.
