The program is intentionally designed to provide a joyful inclusive camp experience for the entire family including the person with a disability siblings and parents. Camp Celebrate is held annually and offers a structured week of recreational activities worship services and family centered programming in a supportive and accessible environment. During camp children with special needs participate in age appropriate activities with the assistance of trained volunteers who provide individualized care and support allowing parents and siblings to fully engage in camp experiences as well. Siblings are encouraged through peer activities and mentorship while parents are given opportunities for rest encouragement and relationship development with other families. Camp Celebrate strengthens families by reducing emotional and physical stress fostering community with other families facing similar challenges and providing spiritual encouragement.
