2025 was an inspiring year of accomplishment for Chair the Love, providing mobility, freedom, and dignity to thousands of people around the world. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and our ongoing partnership with the Wheelchair Foundation, Chair the Love provided 4,200 children and adults with the life changing gift of a free wheelchair. Each wheelchair was hand delivered and individually fitted by volunteers, ensuring that every recipient received the mobility solution best suited to their needs. These deliveries took place across 13 countries Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Jamaica, the United States, the Philippines, Nepal, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Ukraine spanning five continents: North America, South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The distribution of vital wheelchairs in war-torn Ukraine was made possible through our partnership with AdventHealth Global Missions. The impact of this work extends far beyond each individual. A wheelchair not only transforms the daily life of the recipient, but also provides relief and new opportunities for caregivers, strengthens families, and uplifts entire communities. We are especially grateful for the dollar for dollar matching funds provided through the Wheelchair Foundation. Because of this generous support, we were able to double the number of lives changed in 2025 multiplying hope, independence, and possibility for thousands of people.
