THE ALLIANCE SUPPORTS THE COMPLETION OF STEM PROJECTS IN CLASSROOMS AND CLUBS WHICH HELP INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO THE WIDE RANGE OF STEM CAREER CHOICES, AS WELL AS HELPING PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH VOLUNTEER SUPPORT TO AID THEM IN UNDERSTANDING STEM CONCEPTS, PRINCIPLES, AND APPLICATIONS.THE COLUMBIA STEM ALLIANCE IS A NETWORK OF EDUCATORS, BUSINESS PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS WHO INSPIRE INTEREST IN AND PROVIDE DIRECT SUPPORT FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH EDUCATION. IT ADOVOCATES AND SUPPORTS A SOLID FOUNDATION OF STEM EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF RACE, GENDER, OR ECONOMIC STATUS.
