Securing a brick-and-mortar building in the heart of Skyway has been transformative for TSTF providing a stable and welcoming hub to expand its impact on the community. This centralized location has enabled TSTF to significantly increase its reach and effectiveness across a variety of programs. Notably it has fostered the creation of a safe and supportive environment where over 250 individuals and households have received crucial healthy relationship support. Furthermore the building has served as a vital base for TSTFs food justice initiatives enabling the organization to serve upwards of 30,000 households with greater efficiency and impact. The Task House has also become a vibrant center for youth development providing social-emotional programming to over 150 students from kindergarten to 8th grade. TSTF has also leveraged this space to launch impactful community initiatives such as installing Wi-Fi connectivity in a tiny house village bridging the digital divide for vulnerable residents as well as paved the way for the development of a pre-apprenticeship department creating pathways to skilled trades and economic empowerment for community members. In essence this building has become a cornerstone of TSTFs mission enabling significant growth and a deeper connection to the community.
