Life Skills SupportAs part of our holistic model of healing, we offer a variety of practical support for daily life. We see this as being vital in the journey of finding greater emotional, spiritual, and relational health. We support and provide safe space for clients to learn together how to build interpersonal skills, encouraging them to make use of our facilities for a time of reflection or to meet each other and discover the richness of community. We will often assist clients to explore career development, to learn and implementing better nutrition and exercise habits, to be able to de-escalate situations of conflict, etc. This support can also include helping people to improve their understanding of financial principles. All this is hugely beneficial in creating greater potential for well-being.

Small groups & Peer-to-Peer supportSmall groups are one of the core aspects of transformation and community within Finding Freedom. These non-judgmental spaces provide the support for people to dig into their journey of healing with others who are doing the same. Our expert-by-experience model lends itself well to these groups as one person moves forward in their journey everyone in the group benefits. Our peer-to-peer method of support (based on our expert-by- experience model), offers a similar benefit. Those supporting others have all walked their own journey of healing and transformation and in these sessions they are able to guide, empower, and support others to do the same.
