Homes and Hope Community Land Trust went under contract to co-purchase with low-income households 6 townhouses currently owned by another nonprofit; this perpetuates the subsidy and expands affordable homeownership in the City of Everett. We taught monthly orientation sessions for prospective buyers, a few 1st time homebuyer classes, and also mentored 2 high school interns in the many aspects of affordable housing development. We are working on the pre construction tasks for 47 new homes in three different communities.
