A climate of expectation and success is encouraged, and all pupils are helped to set realistic targets and then given every assistance in achieving them. Our goal is to facilitate the development of self-confidence and to provide our students with the academic foundation necessary for them to reach their true potential and enjoy a successful experinced in higher education. Teachers facilitate and present children with challenging questions and problems that encourage them to think "outside of box" through a hands-on project method. By actively participating in projects given, students encounter central concepts and principles about the subjects they are studying, which develop valuable research, problem solving, decision-making and investigate skills. Project-based learning allows the students to learn from their experiences, and then to apply what they have learned to the world around them. During the June 30, 2022 year end, Placer Charter Academy served approximately 261 students and had 175 instruction days.
