CPR2024 Program Overview:Crossroads Prayer Retreat exists to provide a place to hear the voice of the Lord forindividuals, couples, families, small groups, churches and public events. The goal is rest, healing, deliverance,clarity and renewal. 6 private bed/bathrooms, kitchen and meeting room can be used as the guests desire orour Director is willing to plan and work with individuals and groups as to their needs. 160 acre outdoor spacewith lake is often the backdrop for day or evening events.Program highlights from this past year include:-Occasional Friday night prayer and worship meetings by a group from various churches, races anddenominations.-A powerful 3 night tent revival was held with verified physical healings, baptisms and amazing worship.Speakers were from South Africa and Grenada MS. Various area musicians - brought Christians together! Ittook lots of cooperation from individuals and churches. People of various backgrounds and races all cametogether from Tupelo, Brandon, Cape Coral FI, N. Georgia, and the tri-state area.-We hosted a Christian form of the Seder meal at Passover teaching Old Testament meanings and theforeshadowing of Messiah in the Passover.-Large Confirmation weekend Retreat-Zambian couple - author Dr. Mayaba Choongo and her husband were here twice to minister. Verifiedhealings.-Events ministering to women and men from several local drug and alcohol addiction ministries. The meneven helped us move furniture!-Ministry to Pastors, some alone - some with spouse and family who come for a time to heal, hear God, restand play. Informal counseling and encouragement was offered and provided.-Provided lodging for Christian leaders, speakers and missionaries for churches and ministries in the area fortheir conferences and for t h e individuals who were exhausted.-We partnered with other ministries to encourage and teach worship.-We sponsored an outdoor gospel singing.-Several Women's groups had their own weekend retreats or called on our director to speak or lead worship.-Helped sponsor the TN July month of prayer initiative with Rep. Monty Fritts.-Hosted some local church youth events.-Director held a few private Christian weddings on the grounds.-Provided lodging and a place of peace for several troubled individuals - provided informal encouragement.-We hosted an outdoor concert by artist from Kentucky who also led worship at Gaines Chapel GMC-We hosted several scout groups including the regional camporee with over 150 in tents!-We attempted a vegetable garden to provide healthy food for guests and those in need.-We have offered several different author's books for donation. Extreme Sheep (on hearing God's voice) byRev. Timothy Jones; Addiction & Faith by Dr. Michael Mason (one of our Board members) and AdvancedSpiritual Warfare by Dr. Mayaba Choongo. Our Director will be offering studies this year to the community.-We have been a part of several National and State intercessory Prayer initiatives - Rev. Dutch Sheets "GiveHim 15" Rev. Betty Love's Warriors from the Womb of the Dawn; The Mississippi Prayer Alliance with Beau &Marion Neal; the MS/TN/AL Directors of Intercessory prayer groups with Rebecca & Crispin Bennett fromGulfport, MS; and The TN 700 initiative with Leslie & Brian Hogue from Counce, TN.-Our Director was invited to speak at the first gathering of GMC pastors in South Carolina where she alsojoined in a Prayer day for LIFE at the SC capital.
