Community Project Implementation: Puente empowers host country nationals to meet the health infrastructre needs within their own community. Puente provides training guidance and material costs for physical projects throughout the Dominican Republic. In the fiscal year described Puente constructed 68 bathrooms 6 roofs 4 floors distributed 18 filters and implemented 2 large water projects. Our water projects gave over 2075 individuals with increased access to water. In total there were over 2500 individuals positively impacted from a Puente project. All residents successfully completed courses on healthy practices and maintenance of systems facilities.

Mobile Data Collection: Puente's projects are only made possible via the data collection. Puente develops technology used by global development practitioners to analyze and ultimately meet the need of marginalized communities. Organizations that focus on medical missions water solutions literacy nutrition maternal health etc. all use Puente's technology to drive effective and intential change. In the fiscal year described Puente's technology was used by 500 users to collect 50,000 data points on community health and infrastructure.

Community Development Training: Puente has been training host country nationals to identify and address their community needs since its inception. Puente offers trainings on community development water sanitation hygiene health promotion maternal health and gardening. During all trainings local staff teaches their peers and community members the importance of sustainable development practices data collection project management excel grant reporting community engagement stakeholder meetings etc. Puente's network spans across Constanza Cevicos Consuelo Dajabon Barahuco and Tireo DR. Staff is responsible for all on-ground activities and managed to collect over 15,000 records across all sites during the fiscal year described. Additionally staff follows up with all previous projects and patients to monitor expected outcomes ensuring that Puente's work is positively impactful.
