These units are project-based with an emphasis on increasing health knowledge, social emotional learning, science education, equity, art appreciation, and college and career readiness. The students will be able to strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, mathematical modeling, and critical thinking by participating in project-based learning activities with the objective of improving research skills, communication, collaboration, and mathematically-themed progress monitoring.
