ADOPTIONS: During 2025 over 455 dogs were rescued. They were provided with food, housing foster and veterinary care while in the southern state of Alabama or Texas. After receiving appropiate vaccinations and a certificate of health, they were transported to Maine. In Maine they were again provided with food, housing foster and veterinary care. The dogs were then matched with families who adopted them. All of the dogs were adopted in Maine. All dogs adopted through Rescue Charlie's Friends are spayed and neutered and have received all age appropiate vaccinations.

CLINIC: We established the clinic to provide spay, neuter, small surgery and vaccines services for our incoming dogs from Alabama and Texas. Additionally, we provide the community with education on appropriate pet care and offer low-cost services. We perform spay and neuter procedures for cats and utilize state vouchers to help reduce the cat population. All animals served by the clinic also receive necessary vaccinations
