THE PURPOSE IS TO ENSURE, IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF THE COMMUNITY SURROUNDING SUTTON PLACE SOUTH AND SUTTON PLACE PARK IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (THE "COMMUNITY"), INCLUDING THE VISUAL ASPECTS, AESTHETICS, TREES, SHRUBS AND PLANTINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION, ENJOYMENT AND RECREATION. THE ORGANIZATION WILL ACHIEVE ITS OBJECTIVES IN A VARIETY OF WAYS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL ENGAGE RESIDENTS AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO CREATE A VIBRANT AND HEALTHY COMMUNITY. SUCH ENGAGEMENT WILL BRING TOGETHER MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT THE NON-COMMERCIAL, RESIDENTIAL CHARACTER OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND WILL PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR ALL AGES WHICH WILL AIM TO MAKE SUTTON PLACE PARK AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS A VIBRANT CENTER OF THE COMMUNITY AND TO PRESERVE IT UNIMPAIRED FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
