Since July 2022 POG has served patients whose primary language is not English including: Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Spanish, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Nepali, Pashto, and Swahili. Patients come from many countries with 26% of the population speaking a second language and 13.5% speaking English less than "very well". POG offers Propio Interpretation Services for consultation in the patients' language of choice, which provides linguistic and culturally responsive services. Recently we have added prescription labels in 100 different languages which helps improve adherence. POG is partnering with Mercy and Truth Medical Missions as their 340B contract pharmacy. The program allows the 340B qualified clinics to purchase prescription drugs for deeply discounted prices to support patient care. One continuing accomplishment is the continued growth in daily volume. Because we know the growth will continue we recently added our next continuous improvement initiative, a pharmacy robot. The ScriptPro CRS 225 pharmacy robot accurately fills 150 prescriptions an hour or 1200 prescriptions in one workday increasing the speed of prescription fulfilment. The pharmacy robot separates and manages multiple inventories with perfect accuracy. The pharmacy robot will have a major impact on our current staff. The efficiency, accuracy, and capacity provided by the robot allows Pharmacy of Grace to meet todays and future demand. Since opening to the end of 2023, POG has fulfilled 9,745 prescriptions to 1,366 patients and had 12,577 patient encounters.
