In 2025 we rescued 18 animals including our first cow giving us 110 rescued animal residents. We had 50 monthly volunteers who worked 5,376 hours. Our team received 221 hours of formal training, not including the everday barn/animal care modules available to all volunteers. We also implemented an Animal Enrichment Manual which included training sessions and Horse Handling Instructions. Continually raising the bar, our leadership saw a need, and we now offer Grief Counseling & Mental Health Support for both staff and volunteers. Our Infrastructure improvements included: Barn insulation, motions sensor lighting, additional enclosure fencing and a run-in shelter. We are in the process of obtaining our GFAS certification and laid the groundwork for new programs in 2026 including STAI Forever Program (Solutions to Avoid Intake) & Foreverlanding Adoption & Placement Program.
