Film Distribution and Film Production: GroundSpark continues to use multi-media, online and print resources to further dialogue and community engagement. Through our film distribution, we have been able to support the wide use of our Respect for All Project films to bring attention to LGBT issues in multiple academic disciplines including gender studies, racial justice, comprehensive sex education and youth development. We continue to promote an anti-bias perspective in addressing bullying through the five Respect for All project films: Straight-laced - How Gender's Got Us All Tied Up, Let's Get Real, That's a Family!, It's Elementary - Talking about Gay Issues in School, and It's Still Elementary. In June 2021, GroundSpark competed its latest film, Prognosis - notes on living, documenting the last two years of GroundSpark's Founder and former Executive Director Debra Chasnoff's life after she was diagnosed with State 4 breast cancer. The film is currently being shown at film festivals in the US and is being used by end of life partner organizations, INELDA and San Francisco Jewish and Family Services, to train their members and communities on quality end of life considerations.
