Daytime English Program. We host these programs at two locations in Alexandria and Fairfax. These programs served 205 adults and 43 children from August 2024 - July 2025. These programs meet three times per week, and include Adult English classes and free early childhood program for children 0-5 years old. These programs prioritize serving women with young children. We create a welcoming supportive community where students can feel safe sharing their burdens and needs as they navigate life in a new place. This year we provided practical help 308 times for a variety of service including job searching, resume writing, and support with navigating healthcare, schooling, the DMV, etc. We also hosted 7 resourcing events to help connect students to resources in the community that can help them flourish. These programs offer opportunities for adults to hear about a God who loves them, read stories from the Bible, receive prayer, and ask spiritual questions.
