In 2024 grants and donations of $234,755 were received for this project and $102,375 were spent for a new pavilion for the park and a portion of the cost of a site study needed before further construction can start. The remaining funds plus other funds being raised in 2025 will be used for the renovation of Lou Dennis Park.
