With the NewSchools Venture Fund, awarded 150K, to revitalize the language through building Nez Perce language cultural resources for youth. We were to develop 15 - 20 lessons and then implement them into the classrooms, primarily for preschoolers and lower elementary levels. We did complete 15 and are implementing them into our classrooms with a size of 20 - 30 youth. However, teaching was not a requirement for this investment. The investment was to create more resources for an endangered language/ culture. This will help us towards our ultimate goal of an Nez Perce immersion school of our own. The lack of resources or any acknowledgement is what impedes our work.

So, the funds went towards stipends to the youth who participated, a Nez Perce dictionary (supplies), and laptop. This went from March 2022-to October 2022. There were 10 - 15 youth, whom received a 1099 if necessary.
