In addition, four more BigBelly trash cans were added to bring the total number to nine in the District.

Developed a relationship with SF FunCheap to promote events such as Halloween, Holiday, and Pickin on the Polk music festival.

Beautification and Placemaking (7/01/22 - 6/30/23): Funded and faciliated installation of medium-scale mural in partnership with Painting the Void located on the space between Bell Tower and Lush Boutique; hosted three family-focused events in the District that included face painters, bouncy houses, and balloon-animal artists; produced and executed the second annual Pickin on the Polk music festival which took place on Earth Day, April 22, 2023; continued to augment our tree lights throughout the District in partership with SF Holiday Lighting Pros (added bistro style lights to significant portions of Polk Street and maintained the current tree lights that were installed in FY20-21); added 24 hanging planters on street light poles at every intersection in the District.
