Each site hosted a range of exhibitions, film screenings, talks, and performances, welcoming both local and visiting audiences. Collaborations with partner organizations brought shared events, including public conversations and live dance performances, reinforcing SJAF's role as a hub for interdisciplinary arts. The year also saw the return of intimate gatherings with artists, authors, and designers - salon-style moments that fostered dialogue and creative exchange. In October, SJAF celebrated its five-year anniversary with a lively gala in San Francisco. Throughout 2023, SJAF expanded its membership, deepened community partnerships, and strengthened its presence in both cities. With a renewed focus on inclusive and bold programming, the Foundation continued to grow as a vital space for creative expression and cultural connection.
