TECC Boss: Technology Entrepreneurship to Create changeTECC Boss is a 6-week paid summer internship for Louisville youth aged 16-21. Held Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, the program empowers interns to explore tech pathways and foster their entrepreneirial spirit, irrespective of prior tech experience. Sponsored by SummerWorks, our goal is to leverage technology to drive social change. In the past three years, weve engaged 130+ young innovators, addressing community isses ranging from LGBTQ+ advocacy to financial Literacy. The 2023 Health and Wellness Edition focued on health equity, equipping participants to craft tech solutions for pressing community health challenges. At its core, TECC Boss champions a healthier more equitable Louisville.
