My Bag My Story partnered with over 40 foster agencies in Tennessee to provide duffel bags and backpacks to children in the foster care system. We have designated volunteers that represent each agency. When the agency needs additional bags, they contact that volunteer to gather their bags and deliver to them. After the bags are donated, we ask the agency to provide details on the demographics of the children served. We have a Volunteer Coordinator that tracks the bags donated to our partner agencies. In 2025, we provided 3,601 bags to foster children. This was a 40% increase from 2024.
