A second user pavilion was constructed on the camp property and the septic system was finalized for use in 2024. Slash piles were burned to rid the area of more combustible fuels in case of lightning strikes and to help with the overall forest health. Roads were upgraded with more gravel base and compaction to reduce dust and hazards of driving during the wetter months.Several youth camped at the property again during the summer and worked with board members and other volunteers doing site prep activities and building camper shelters at a couple locations on the property plus setting up obstacle courses.Plans are to add a lodge and bathroom facilities during the 2024 construction season.
