CAMP H-TOWN-THE URBAN ONCOLOGY CAMP AT FOUR SEASONS HOTEL HOUSTON, IS A FUN FILLED FIVE DAYS CONDUCTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS MD ANDERSON CHILDRENS CANCER HOSPITAL. THE CAMP PROVIDES UP TO 32 KIDS AGES 8-14 WHO ARE LIVING WITH CANCER A FUN AND SAFE CAMP SETTING AT NO FINANCIAL COST TO THE CAMPERS FAMILIES. THE HOTEL HAS CONVERTED AN ENTIRE FLOOR INTO A CAMPGROUND WITH BUNK BEDS AND CAMPING GEAR, IN WHICH THE CAMPERS STAY FOUR NIGHTS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF VOLUNTEERS AND MEDICAL STAFF FROM MD ANDERSON. A SECOND CAMP WAS CONDUCTED IN GEORGIA DURING THE YEAR.
