In 2025 we worked to support passed initiatives on paid sick leave and minimum wage. For both projects, we helped build a coalition, supported leaders with lived experience, and worked to advocate for support in the state legislature. We also joined with other Nebraska organizations to explore and then support a new ballot initiative campaign to protect the ballot initiative process from legislative overreach.
