Topics included medication assisted recovery, disability, fighting NIMBY issues, co-occurring conditions, financing, underserved populations, LGBTQ+ challenges, rural recovery, etc. Brought a greater understanding of recovery housing as the service provided to the recovery community and municipalities. Assisted in the development of relationships between recovery houses, municipalities, first responders and employers across New Hampshire.

Housing assistance allows people to enter recovery housing and covers costs until the resident finds employment and starts paying his own way. Without housing assistance, many people return to their community of origin and are unable to maintain recovery.
