The Firefly Gatherings Community Connections Program helped create opportunities for nature connection and skills for individuals who dont have opportunities through application based awards to offset attendance costs, as well as by creating welcoming conditions and additional resources at the event. Connections are made with communities who generally lack this access, fifteen attendees who would not have otherwise attended the annual gathering and sixteen who attended the perennial workshops.
