We partnered with 46 different organizations, building a vast web of local relationships. The Neighborhood has recently begun negotiations on a location in North Brooklyn, bringing us closer to our dream of having our own venue.

Asylum Arts This program area supports Jewish and Israeli culture world-wide, creating more cultural activity internationally and bringing the best to Brooklyn and the United States. Asylum Arts supported 24 artists in 2024 with grants of $204,389, which included support for new creative projects in dance, theater, visual arts, music, and literature and an artist residency. We also featured international artists in programs in Brooklyn, raising their profile and bringing their unique perspective to local audiences.
