We provide complete veterinary care from check ups, vaccinations and spay/neuter to extensive surgical procedures and ongoing, follow-up care for rescued animals. Our animals are supported in foster homes prior to permanent adoption and in the case of our hospice animals, for the rest of their days. We collect and donate dog and cat food along with some additional supplies to a local food bank. This food is distributed to their clients to help support their companion animals. We never want to see an animal surrendered to a shelter because their owner cannot afford to feed them. We donated nearly 2 tons of food in 2025 (3800 pounds) and over 13 tons since we began the program in late 2019.

We provided spay/neuter services to 17 animals In 2025, we rescued 93 animals of all kinds and found homes for 43. Many of these animals were seniors and special needs, the discarded and unwanted. There are 93 different stories, many of renewal and new life, no matter the actual age. We are committed to helping the most critical cases, the seniors, the at-risk, the rejected, and the special-needs.

HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF MANY OF THE REASONS WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT Freckles was with her person for nine years. She was a loyal, loving, affectionate, happy companion. Then, every dogs nightmare happened. Freckles person passed away and she was shelter-bound.This energetic eleven-year-old mix needed a new friend. We reached out to our community and Freckles was soon in a foster home and then quickly adopted. One of our last saves of 2025 was a tiny kitten found frozen in the snow, barely moving but still somehow holding on. Would we help? Of course! Foxy Penguin required days of intensive care and multiple blood transfusions but this tiny kitten made it. She is now safe and warm in her new home. Just when you think youve heard it all... Ozzy, a small, defenseless, visually and hearing impaired senior, was found in THE SEWER This poor old guy was matted to the skin. His nails were curled and crossed over each other. He was filthy, limp, and emaciated. To make a very long story short, Ozzy was hospitalized, had his ups and downs until he stopped responding to anyone, and a doctor recommended euthanasia. We went to be with Ozzie who then spoke to us, loud and clear. Our volunteer recounts. After only a few minutes in my arms, Ozzy came back to life. He licked my hand a few times, started to squirm and kick his legs! I put him down and he stood, WALKED, and peed. He then turned right around and nudged my hand, wanting to be held again. The nurse came in with euthanasia paperwork and we promptly said Ozzy wasnt going anywhere but home. The doctor thought we were making a mistake but since that day many months ago, Ozzy has been enjoying his new lease on life
