CORE PROGRAM/PRE-K - THE CORE PROGRAM CATERS TO K-5TH GRADE STUDENTS AND RUNS FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. FAMILIES CAN CHOOSE TO ATTEND FIVE OR FEWER DAYS PER WEEK. THE CORE PROGRAM BEGINS WITH A HOT MEAL AND UNSTRUCTURED OUTDOOR PLAY IF WEATHER PERMITS. WE THEN OFFER TWO ACTIVITY BLOCKS TO OUR STUDENTS. ACTIVITIES ARE ROTATED DAILY FOR EACH GROUP OF STUDENTS. WE EXPOSE STUDENTS TO ACTIVITIES SUCH AS VISUAL ARTS, THEATER, MUSIC, DANCE, SPORTS AND GAMES, COOKING, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING, AND HOMEWORK HELP. OUR PRE-KINDERGARTEN (PRE-K) PROGRAM IS A FIVE-DAY-A-WEEK, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY PROGRAM. WE START WITH A MEAL, FOLLOWED BY UNSTRUCTURED OUTDOOR PLAY DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER. THE PROGRAM CONCLUDES WITH TWO ACTIVITY BLOCKS FROM THE OPTIONS LISTED ABOVE.
