Cooper Hill Ski Area, Inc. dba Cooper is a Colorado not-for-profit corporation formed to operate a ski resort nine miles from Leadville, at the top of Tennessee Pass on Highway 24. Cooper Hill provides a high quality, family-oriented, affordable alternative to the larger Colorado ski resorts. The Organization serves local guests from the surrounding mountain communities, regional guests from the Denver and Colorado Springs metropolitan markets, and destination visitors from surrounding states. The Organization provides and maintains 60 varied runs, 5 ski lifts and 100% natural snow on 470-lift served acres. Base facilities include equipment rentals, a retail shop, a ski and ride school, and food and beverage operations.
