INDIVIDUALS MAY LIVE IN COMFORTABLE, FAMILY ENVIRONMENT GROUP HOMES OR MAY LIVE ALONE OR WITH A ROOMMATE IN AN APARTMENT OR A HOME. SERVICES IN THESE SETTINGS CONCENTRATE ON THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO BE ABLE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. COOKING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY, NUTRITION, SAFETY, HYGIENE, AND COMMUNITY SKILLS ARE TAUGHT IN BOTH SETTINGS. THE GROUP HOMES HAVE A STAFF MEMBER ON DUTY AT THE LOCATION 24 HOURS PER DAY.
