Disaster Relief: Christ in Action's primary service is to residents who have experienced a natural or man-made disaster. We serve homeowners at no cost to them, relying on donations to allow us to offer physical, spiritual and emotional support. This includes (but is not limited to) tree and debris removal, mucking and gutting homes, utilizing heavy equipment to demolish homes that have been completely destroyed, and providing trained chaplains to offer spiritual and emotional support throughout the process. Our goal is to show the love of Christ in how we serve and help in times of crisis. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national orgin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Furnishing Hope: is an initiative that collects donations of new and gently used furniture, fixtures, household items and partners with local churches and organizations to help residents who have been able to rebuild their house after a castastrophic event, but need assistance re-furnishing their homes. this is at no cost to the homeowners and typically falls into the long-term recovery window, at 6 to 12 months after the initial event, allowing time for rebuilding and recovery before helping them move to the next step. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
