In the 2024-25 season, the Boulder Chorale's six choirs with members ranging in age from 5 to 85 years presented fall, spring, and holiday concerts including a number of outreach concerts to libraries and social service organizations, and participation in Boulder's annual tree lighting ceremony. The Boulder Children's Chorales celebrated its 15th anniversary in the spring with a newly commissioned piece and collaboration with the Greater Boulder Youth Orchestra, exploring themes of childhood and adolescence. The Adult Chorales' fall concert focused on world peace, and in the spring it collaborated with both the Longmont Symphony and Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. Musical selections consistently engage and represented members of our diverse community. Concerts have returned to pre-COVID attendance levels with nearly 2,000 people attending live performances, while over 300 friends and family members tuned in from locations around the world to hear grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and others sing through our new live streaming options. Our two youngest choirs expanded in nearby Longmont, CO, to meet the demand to make exceptional educational and music experiences available to more young people. An inaugural week-long educational experience for kids K-9 occurred in June for over 40 children. Free van transport and financial aid was offered to ensure access for all. The Chorale continues to provide scholarships to singers of all ages to ensure that financial need doesn't prevent qualified singers from sharing in the joy of our music.
