The Park Adoption Community Center: To ensure the success of the adoption, CCAI developed post adoption support systems called the Park Adoption Community Center (The Park) designed to assist the families with the bonding and attachment process, cultural education and emotional support. a. Its Joyous Chinese Cultural Club conducts programs to teach Chinese culture and traditions. b. Its Adopteen and Beyond Adopteen (adults adoptees) programs serves over 3000 adopted American pre-teens, teenagers and adults adoptees each year with Adoptween hangouts, summer camp-conferences, leadership retreats, Adult Adoptee retreats, and caregiver training opportunities. c. Its China Roots program created opportunities for adoptees to return back to China to discover their roots and visit orphanages where they lived prior to adoption.
