2021 PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS - New Zealand: ongoing consulting of graduates of the Arrow Leadership program, of which we graduated over 80 male and female leaders since 2002, specifically Bevan Smith, New Zealander, who now serves in Myanmar as missionary. - Skills for Living, Inc: ongoing support and consulting to the leadership of this training and church planting outreach ministry, specifically in Kenya. ***continued on Schedule O ***- Nepal: consulting with leadership of the Master's course taught in Nepal, "Women in Leadership," specifically, continuing discipleship of pastor, Heman Rai of Kathmandu, for whom help is needed to continue further advanced education in the United States. - Sri Lanka: mentoring and coaching of pastor-leaders in the course, "Ethics for Living and Leadership," a Masters degree course, to church leaders, for Development Associates International, specifically, continuing discipleship of pastor, David Paul, stationed in Colombo, whose church has requested Team Kiwi come and teach, preach, and disciple church staff. - Nigeria: continued mentoring and correspondence with Bishop Jonah Ibrahim, a former student of Dr. Thurman's in the course, "Spiritual Formation," in Nigeria, in 2017. - Myanmar: follow up teaching and grading of all assignments for pastor-leaders in the course, "The Ministry of Mentoring," coaching them in the principles of discipleship, along with continuing mentoring of two leaders: Daniel Piang, who teaches in the Yangon seminary; and William Van, who leads a large evangelism ministry, also in Yangon. Both have requested Dr. Thurman return to teach; however, the recent military coup and civil unrest have prevented that for now. - Kenya: oversight of senior pastor, William Omollo, Ugunja; consulting regarding the seminary launched in western Kenya; and continuing preparation and study for the next trip to minister there as soon as the C-19 pandemic allows. - USA: consulting with the elders, our supporting church, Fellowship Bible Church, Colorado.- USA: teaching at the annual national Grace Evangelical Society conference in Dallas, Texas. - USA: research and writing for Grace Evangelical Society, Old Testament Commentary, on the books of Jonah and Job, both from a Free Grace theological perspective. - Study: continuing research in the doctrine of grace, including writing of materials for teaching, preaching, and conferences.
